In the past I have made the kids outfits to wear for the 4th of July. This year my sewing machine broke, and so last minute I decided to buy a cheapo machine and make shorts. The kids were excited because as Auli says, "but Mom, it's a tradition". I can't believe how fast they grow!
Arne and Auliver bought some BIG fireworks at a firework store out here. On the 4th and 5th we set some of them off! The kids loved them even though it was a bit cold.

I preferred "Hogwarts" myself. And it's associated scream. The neighbors loved it, too! BUT, they NEVER suspected the Mormons on the block--so we didn't get blamed. Until we confessed, that is. Awesome night. Thanks, guys!
